Edna Tate Hedrick

Edna Tate Hedrick, 91, of 503 East. Meadow Rd. in Eden passed away early Saturday morning at the Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden. Funeral Services will be held Monday July 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm in The Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Danview Cemetery. Mrs. Hedrick was born in Danville, Va. on May 4, 1920 to the late William and Betty McDaniel. She retired from American Tobacco in Reidsville. NC and was a member of the Happy Home Christian Church. Edna is survived by her son, William Tate and wife Lynne of Chapel Hill, NC and daughter, Deloris Walker and husband, David of Reidsville, NC and sister, Billie Chambers of Eden, NC, 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husbands, Ted Tate and Victor Hedrick: Sisters, Agnus Atkins, Lucille Martin, Lillian Keck and Annie Powell and Brothers, George, Charlie and Claude McDaniel. The family would like to offer a special thanks to her niece, Bonita Taylor and family and to her caretaker, Jane Pugh and also Dr. Vyas.
