Edna Earl Roberts

Edna Earl Roberts, age 87 passed away early Saturday morning, May 11, 2019 at UNC Rockingham Nursing and Rehabilitation in Eden. 

A graveside service will be held at 4 pm on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  There will not be a formal visitation but she will remain at Fair Funeral Home for visitors until time of her service.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Rockingham County to the late Bud Roberts and Odessa Swinney Roberts on April 22, 1932.  She was a faithful member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church until her health declined.  Edna retired from Fieldcrest Mills with over 35 years of service.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by sons, John S. Roberts of the home and Frank E. Roberts and wife, Barbara of Castle Hayne, NC; grandchild, Angel Roberts and husband, Jamie McDuffie of Castle Hayne, NC; two great-grandchildren, Tanner Roberts and Callie McDuffie both of Castle Hayne, NC; great-great-grandchild, Kenzie Leigh; sister, Mary Sue Barrett and husband, Bobby of Stoneville, and brother, Bud Roberts, Jr., and friend Barbara Collins of Eden.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Law.
