Edna "Allene" Pruett Hall

Edna “Allene” Pruett Hall, 97 of Eden, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 18th, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at other times at her son’s home, 110 Empire Dr, Eden.

Allene was born July 16, 1927 in Randolph County, NC, to the late Earle Edgar Pruett and Iola Presnell Pruett. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked as a clerk and buyer for Belk until her retirement. Allene enjoyed sewing and gardening. She had a love of animals. Allene enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Joseph “Joe” Hall and wife, Cindy, of Eden; grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, and Ciara Hall; great-grandchild, River Oreana Hall; numerous nephews and nieces; special friend, Ann Fish.

In addition to her parents, Allene is preceded in death by her husband, Vernard Hall, son, Jerry Vernard Hall, and brothers, Norris Milton Pruett and Eugene Pruett.
