Edgar Glenn Jarrell, Jr.

Edgar Glenn Jarrell, Jr., 73, of Reidsville, passed away Saturday April 10, 2021, at his residence.

Graveside services will be Wednesday 2 pm at the Jarrell Family  Cemetery, 276 Jarrell Farm Road in Reidsville.  He will lie in repose on Tuesday from 12 noon to 6 pm at Fair Funeral Home, 432 Boone Rd., Eden, for those who wish to come by and sign the register and pay their respects. 

Edgar was born December 5, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Edgar Glenn and Opal Mae (Evans) Jarrell, Sr.  Edgar worked for McGovney Ready Mix in Portsmouth and Wheelersburg, Ohio for more than 15 years.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge #864 in Eden and was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to fish, play golf, and being on the farm.   His family was important to him, especially his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dingess Jarrell of the home;  three daughters, Belinda Jane Shuff of Reidsville, Donna Lynn (James) Ellington of Reidsville and Glenda Renee Isley of Fieldale, VA.; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
