Eddie Johnson Craddock

Eddie Johnson Craddock, 87, a resident of North Point of Mayodan, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care in Eden.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 30, at Kings Highway Christian Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Meeks section.  Military rites will be performed by the Rockingham County Veteran's Honor Guard and NC National Guard.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (10 - 11 AM) at the church and other times at the home.

A native of Rockingham County, Mr. Craddock was born May 19, 1931 to the late Isaac Madison Craddock and Bertha Mae Dunn Craddock.  He was a US Marine veteran and a member of Kings Highway Christian Church.   Mr. Craddock was a retiree of Spray Cotton Mill.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Pruitt (Doug) of Eden;  two grandchildren, Christopher Pruitt and Angel Meeks (Greg);  three great-grandchildren, Addison Meeks, Preston Martin and Joshua Pruitt;  and sister, Joyce Craddock of Eden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Harris Craddock
