Dorothy Marie Seal Barker

Dorothy Marie Seal Barker, 81, passed on November 9th, 2021 at the Brian Center in Eden, NC.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 13th, at 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, NC, with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home on the evening of Friday, November 12th, from 5pm-7pm.

Dorothy was an employee of Fieldcrest Mills for 42 years and a resident of Ridgeway, Va.  She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother.  She loved her family and was a selfless caregiver.

She is survived by her children, Calvin Leon Curry (Paige Curry) and Delores Curry Servin; grandchildren, Heather Palmer (Kenneth Palmer), Brett Curry, Andrea Carter (Daniel Carter), Samantha Rouse (Paul Rouse), Jon Curry (Kaitlyn Curry), Fredia Servin, Estevan Servin (Haley Servin); great-grandchildren Maggie, Braxton, Jacob, Nathan, Natalie, Levi, Dylan, Laila, Ayden, Eli, and one on the way; siblings, Carl Seal, Rachael Christley, Linda Clark, and Rodger Seal.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Franklin Seal and Fannie Wood Seal; husband, Leonard Calvin Curry; siblings, Frank Seal, James “Cotton” Seal, Ann Dillon, Larry Seal, Calvin “Duck” Seal, Bradley Seal, Indie Seal, and infant brother; Son-in-law Max Servin.
