Dorothy Lee Robertson

Dorothy Lee Robertson, 84, passed away Monday, September 27th at Holts Family Care Home in Eden, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, Va. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Dorothy was born in Carroll County, Va. to the late Bruce Edwards and Ethel Frazier Edwards and was a lifelong resident of Eden. She was a very witty person with a big heart who loved sending cards to those who were sick and in need of a pick me up. Some activities that she was the fondest of included listening to gospel music, visiting with family, traveling to the mountains, walking and exercising, solving puzzles, and chatting with friends on the phone.  Dorothy enjoyed watching TV with her caregiver and friend, Jean Holt. She will surely be missed by all that knew her.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Renea (Brian) Wright of Eden, NC , Lynn (Steve) Keck of Washington, MI, sister, Marie (Bobby) Lawson of Ridgeway,Va.; grandchildren, Owen Wright, Brittany (Crystal) Wright, Derek Wright, Lindsay (Shawn) Tyburski, Valerie (Matthew) Hobig, Sean (Kaitlin) Keck, Shelby (Christian) McClain, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by infant son, Barry Dale Robertson, siblings Guyda Canterbury, Ellen Hawks, Cleva Crowder, Howard Glenn Edwards, Blanche Harmon, Bobby Edwards and Bonnie Edwards.
