Dorothy "Dot" Williams Burroughs Eden, dateline Dorothy "Dot" Williams Burroughs, age 82, of 323 Greenwood Street, (Holts Family Care), Eden, passed away on Monday morning December 6, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Dot was born December 8, 1927 in Wilmington, NC to the late Howard and Beulah Jones Williams. She was retired from Macfield Industries and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death, along with her parents, husband; Roy Thomas Burroughs, and a daughter; Carolyn Brown. Surviving is her nephew; Bruce Burroughs and wife Sandra of Stoneville; and three grandchildren, Tony, Terri, and Tammy Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Grogan, Shirley Marron, and Viola Burchell. Family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm on Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home.
