Dorothy Barnette Berrier

Dorothy Augusta Barnette Berrier, 99, of Eden passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at UNC Rockingham Healthcare Rehab and Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Friday, August 30, 2024 at Lawson Cemetery in Eden. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service, from 10-10:45am, at Fair Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born August 21, 1925 in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Kerry Rangeley Barnette and Della Stephens Barnette. She was a former member of Meadow View Church. Dorothy enjoyed traveling. Mostly, she loved caring for her family and her home.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Alan Berrier (Lou) of Eden; grandchildren, Holly Berrier, Michael Berrier (Sandy), Rhonda Hankins (Tripp); daughter-in-law, Sarah Berrier; great-grandchildren, Garrett Hankins, Sydney Hankins, Brandon Berrier, Alyssa Berrier.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Berrier; son, Ronnie Berrier; granddaughter, Heather Berrier; daughter-in-law, Nancy Coxon Berrier.
