Doris Bondurant Powell

Doris Bondurant Powell, age 90 formerly of Eden, NC was called to her Heavenly Home by her Lord and Savior on Saturday August 10th, 2024 and was reunited with her mother, father and daughter. She was surrounded by her loving family in the home she shared with her daughter in Graham, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday August 14th, 2024 at Fairview Baptist Church in Stoneville with visitation to be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fair Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest alongside her mother and father at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Ashley Loop Road, Reidsville, NC.

Doris was born September 26, 1933 in Rockingham County to the late Thomas Earl Bondurant and Lena Dix Bondurant. She was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church and retired from Fieldcrest Mills.

Doris is survived by her daughters Cyndi Baily (Paul) of Graham, NC, Tamie Madani(Amir) of Clayton, NC, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her daughter Susan Sutton and her great granddaughter Nina Sutton.
