Doris Marie Smith

Doris Marie Smith, 83, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2020 at her home, 1323 W Fieldcrest Road in Eden, NC

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, September 28th in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel with a family visitation one hour prior to the service.  A burial will follow at the Overlook Cemetery.  For those who cannot attend the service, it will be live streamed and may be viewed on Facebook.  

Doris was born in Draper, NC, April1, 1937.  She retired from DuPont as a machine operator.

Ms. Smith is survived by her daughter, Sheila Capps (Greg) Lexington, SC, grand-daughters; Becca Lindamood, Lexington, SC, Emily Steuck, Newberry, SC; three great- grandchildren and one sister, Virginia Woodall.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Benton Chaney and Cora Smith Chaney.
