Donald Wayne Wall

Donald "Wayne" Wall, 83, of 3930 NC 14 in Reidsville and 227 Madison Street in Eden, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018, at his home in Eden, with his family by his side.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 22, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 pm, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 227 Madison Street in Eden.

Wayne was born July 20, 1934 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Delmer and Dessie Wilson Wall.  He attended Wentworth High School but graduated from East Gaston High School in Belmont, NC.  After high school, he attended NC State University.  Wayne worked for Duke Energy, Central & Branch Motor Lines before starting his own business in 1969.  He was owner and operator of Wall MFG.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Armstong Wall of the home;  son, Marty Wall and wife, Wendy of Eden;  daughter, Peg Sova of Jamestown;  five grandchildren;  and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold and Kenneth Wall and a daughter, Donna Chilton.
