Donald Bowman

Donald Lee “Donnie” Bowman, 65 formally of Eden, NC passed away September 4th, 2026 at Camden Health & Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro, NC. 

A graveside service will be held at 11am Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Donnie was born July 29, 1961 in Roanoke, VA to Lowell A. and Lillian Hatter Bowman. Donnie lived most of his life in Eden where his mother took care of him. Donnie went to Stoneville Pentecostal Church in his earlier days, and loved playing tic-tac-toe with his nieces and nephews. He was a massive fan of Star-Trek, Star Wars, Scooby-Doo and westerns.

Preceding him in death along with his parents are his sister Debra Judith Bonds, brothers Joseph Bowman, John Bowman and a niece Laura Clinton. He is survived by his nieces Kimberly Dillon (Whitney) of Orlando, FL, Marie Bonds of West Virginia, nephews Scott Bowman (Mary) of Fayetteville, WV, Joseph Bonds of Coalton, WV, sister-in-law Glenda Bowman of Eden, NC as well as several great nieces and great nephews, an aunt and two uncles.
