Dollie Estelle Thacker

Dollie Estelle Thacker, 82, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 18, 2015 at Franklin Health and Rehab Center in Rocky Mount, VA.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, February 20, at Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. There will be no formal visitation.

Ms. Thacker was born May 22, 1932 in Ridgeway, VA, to the late Samuel and Margie Odell Thacker. She was a graduate of Ridgeway High School and the retired from Globeman's Department Store in Martinsville, VA. Dollie was musically talented playing guitar. She was also a singer and song-writer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Thacker.
