Diane Coleman Heffinger

Diane C. Heffinger went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 31st, at her home.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 4, 2026 at 11am at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Eden with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home.

Diane graduated from Morehead High School in 1976. She worked at Belk of Eden and later at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Diane was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Eden.

She is preceded in death by her husband, D.J. Heffinger; parents, John Coleman and Vivian Flynn, stepfather, Howard C. Flynn, sister, Carolyn Whitt.

Surviving are her sister, Kay Coleman; nephew, Bryan Cox and his wife, Kristy Cox; nieces, Jonelle Whitt and Dee Whitt; great-nieces, Jade Whitt, Naturi Whitt; great-nephews, Bryce C. Cox, Jaycion Blackwell; and great-great-niece, Jaturri Brown; uncle, Buddy Hylton; along with many loving cousins and other extended family.
