Deborah Lou Smith Ratliff, 71, passed away Saturday, August 12th, at the Gibson House in Wentworth.

There will be a graveside service Saturday August 26, 2023 at 3 pm at Lawson Cemetery in Eden, NC. Visitation will be after the service at the home of her daughter, Tatia (Robbie) Patterson.

Deborah is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Gregory Smith; father, James Floyd Smith; grandparents Minnie & Troy Smith; husband, Jerry Ratliff; daughter, Shana Ratliff; and brother, David Smith.

She is survived by daughter, Tatia Patterson (Robbie); grandchildren, Wesley Patterson, Macy Patterson, and Alec Branch of Eden, NC; brother, Jim Smith, (Sue) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sister, Janet Burnworth of Elm City, NC; and nieces and nephews.
