Deborah Jean Biggs Powell

Deborah Jean Powell, 70, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, November 16th at her home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 20th, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery.  A visitation will be held Friday, November 19th, from 5pm-7pm at Fair Funeral Home.

Deborah was born on March 20th, 1951, to the late Melvin and Shirley Biggs.  She enjoyed shopping, reading, and the beach. Most of all, Deborah loved her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Tony Joe Powell; daughter, Angela Powell Lemons (John); sons, Tony Joe Powell, II (Amy) and Christopher Eugene Powell (Chasity); grandchildren, Whitney Carter (Andy), Jonathan Lemons (Amanda), Carley Powell (Jake), Hope Powell (Josh), Bryan Powell (Ceaira), Ashley Powell; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Colby, Joseph, Haidyn, and William.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to First Church of the Brethren, 730 Church St, Eden NC 27288.
