Deborah "Debbie" Meeks Gammon

Deborah "Debbie" Meeks Gammon, 62, of Eden, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 18, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Happy Home Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 245 Lenoir Drive in Eden.

Debbie was born July 25, 1954 in Martinsville, VA, to the late Sherman Lee and Myrtle Williams Meeks.  She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and loved animals.  Most of all, she loved her family.  Debbie was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her two children, Michelle Rumbley (Brandon) and Marshall Gammon, both of Eden;  three grandchildren, Dylan Gammon, Tatum Rumbley, and Keegan Rumbley;  sister, Donna Skrakowski (Scott) of Maryland;  and brothers, Alfred Meeks of Eden and Timothy Meeks of Ridgeway, VA. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Michael Gammon and siblings, Mildred Edwards, Floyd Meeks, Curtis Meeks, Sandra Patterson, Portia Dalton, Carolyn Corum, Colleen Baker and Rhonda Tucker.
