Dawn Lee Buce

Dawn Lee Buce, 57, of 205 S. Center Street in Eden, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, November 10, at Victory Baptist Church 2073 Oregon Hill Road in Ruffin.  Burial will follow in Happy Home Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (2 - 3 PM) at the church and other times at 3115 Worsham Mill Road in Ruffin and 305 S. Bethel Street in Eden.

Dawn was born January 19, 1960 in Montgomery, New York, to the late James Mabee and Nancy Tilley. 

She is survived by her three children, Shawn Garrett (Ann Pierce) of Browns Summit, Amanda Flint (Jamie) of Eden, and Jamie Towery (Toni) of Ruffin;  seven grandchildren, Nicole Flint, Kaitlynn Flint, Bianca Towery, Ethan Towery, Tony Towery, Jacob Pierce, and Christopher Sturgill;  her former husband, Melvin Towery;  sisters, Tina Roberts and Theresa Bilyue;  brother, Ronald Mabee; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Fair Funeral Home, PO Box 337, Eden, NC  27289, to assist with funeral expenses.
