David Wayne London, Sr.

David Wayne London, Sr., 69, of Avante of Reidsville passed away peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at a date.

Mr. London was born in Rockingham County on March 21, 1949 to the late James Troy London and Myrtle Warren London.  He was of the Christian faith.  David enjoyed fishing, playing pool, talking on his CB radio, watching westerns and he loved to drive.  When he was able to work, David took great delight in being a Truck Driver.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Grogan London of the home; his children, Victoria William and husband, Steven, April Encinias, David Wayne London, Jr. and wife Rosalynd all of Martinsville, VA and Justin Wayne London of the home; six grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, James Troy London, Jr., and Nathan Dudley London; sisters, Linda Finchum and Zona Nelson; and three half-sisters.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sonja London.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Fair Funeral Home; P.O. Box 337 Eden, NC 27289 to help with David’s final expenses.
