David Kenneth True

David Kenneth True, age 67 of 819 Forest Lake Drive, Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Saturday October 31, 2015 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County, Wentworth, NC.

A Funeral service will be held Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, NC with burial to follow at Roselawn Burial Park with full Military Honors.

David was born December 29, 1947 in Watertown, SD. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jackson True. He was a retired Sergeant First Class with the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam war and also served overseas in Korea.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth Everette True of Longmont, CO; step-daughter, Rachelle Ellsworth and husband Dustin of Big Cabin, OK; step-grandchildren, Skyelili and Brycen Ellsworth; close friends, Kim Ferguson and Jeff and Rhonda Masters all of Martinsville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Fair Funeral Home from 10 till 11 a.m.
