David Dewayne Kallam

David Dewayne Kallam, 56, of Eden, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, at 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation held for 1 hour prior to the service.

David was born on January 9th, 1965, in Eden, North Carolina, to father, Calvin Kallam and mother, Sally B. Watkins Kallam. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for a logging company for many years.  He had a passion for the great outdoors, fishing, hunting and running a chainsaw.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sally B. Watkins Kallam of Eden; sons, James Lee (Michlle) Kallam of Eden, Thomas Len Kallam, of Eden, Daniel Ray Kallam of Eden; daughter, Mattie Emily Rigney; sons, John Andrew Kallam of Mayodan, Jerry Wayne Alford of Eden; brother, James (Tammy) Russell Kallam of Stoneville; and by his 10 grandchildren.

David is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Kallam; and brother, John “Meany Man” Kallam.
