Daniel Austin Hopkins

Daniel Austin Hopkins, 65 of Eden, went to be with his Lord peacefully on June 22, 2026, at his home.

There will be no formal service per his wishes.

Daniel was born September 5, 1960 in Eden, North Carolina to the late Samuel Alvis Hopkins and Peggy Dale Ellington Hopkins. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, Virginia. Daniel was a "Jack of All Trades", working in general construction at various locations across the country. 

He leaves behind his brother, John "Randy" Hopkins and sister-in-law, Stephanie Hopkins in Eden, NC, as well as his daughter, Brandy Evans and her family in Spokane, Washington.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Hopkins, Jr.
