Dale Frederick Sautter, Jr.

Dale Frederick Sautter, Jr., 88, of 343 Pervie Bolick Street in Eden, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at his home.

There will be no formal service.

Born in Wood County, Ohio, Mr. Sautter was born June 10, 1931 to the late Dale F. Sautter, Sr. and Ethel Naomi Fox Sautter.  He was a US Army veteran and a retired engineer for various truck manufacturing companies.

He is survived by his son, Mike Sautter of Jacksonville, FL;  three daughters, Martha Zimmer of Jacksonville, FL, Laurel Roderick of Eden and Katy Ely, also of Eden;  five grandchildren;  eight great-grandchildren;  brother, David Sautter;  sisters, Evelyn Ward, Diane Walters, and Laurel West;  and aunt, Geraldine Emmons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Pigg Sautter.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rockingham County Meals on Wheels, c/o ADTS, 105 Lawsonville Ave., Reidsville, NC 27320, or to a local food bank.
