Courtney Paige Faircloth, 13, of Stoneville and Beaufort, NC, passed away Tuesday morning, April 14, 2015, at Brenner's Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. Courtney was born September 14, 2001 in Guilford County, NC. She has attended Floyd Baptist Church in Eden and One Harbor Church in Beaufort, NC. Courtney was involved in the youth ministry. As an infant, Courtney was a poster child for the March of Dimes.

She is survived by her mother, Keelia Morton of Stoneville; her father, Sandy Faircloth and wife, Sarah of Beaufort; brother, Kaiden Faircloth; sister, Lillee Faircloth; grandparents, Sandra Morton of Stoneville, William and Carolyn Faircloth of Brown Summit, and Vallie Chambers of Greensboro; great-grandfathers, James Edward Morton of Axton, VA and Charles Kelly of Greensboro; numerous uncles and aunts; special companions, her dogs, Blake and Brittney; special friends Billy, Tiffany, Draven, Landon, Anna, Hanna and Bethany; and many other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her "Papa", James Wilborn Morton; her great-grandmother, Linda Kelly; great-grandmother, Mildred Morton; and great-grandfather, Bill Chambers.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her uncle, Jimmy Stewart, 5120 Price Road in Stoneville.
