Corinna Barnes Vernon

Corinna “Ren” Barnes Vernon, 81, of Eden, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 4th, 2021.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at 12:00pm, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC, with visitation to follow service and then other times at the home of her daughter, Wanda Price, 9955 Hwy 87, Reidsville NC 27320.

Ren was born on June 22nd, 1940 in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Charlie and Ora Barnes. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tim Vernon of Eden, Wanda Price of Reidsville, Sue Smith (Danny) of Eden, and Mark Vernon of Eden; sisters, Vera Vernon of Reidsville and Minnie Carter of Eden.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ren is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Leon Vernon; son, Bobby Vernon; brothers, Grady Barnes, Coleman Barnes, and Joseph Barnes; and sister, Brenda Burris.
