Claudia Pruitt Webb

Claudia Pruitt Booth Webb, age 89 of Eden, NC passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2017 at Morehead Nursing Center.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Saturday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home.

Mrs. Webb was born September 1, 1927 in Ruffin, NC.  She was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church for the last 26 years and also attended Genesis Church.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 325, Danville, VA. Mrs. Webb was also a member of the Red Hats, Friendship Club and Daughters of the King. She worked at Dan River Mills and later became a Nursing Assistant at Roman Eagle Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse R. Booth and her late husband, Otis Webb.

Surviving are sons; Jesse Ray Booth and wife Pat of Fredricksburg, VA and Bryant Lee Booth and wife Tracie of Eden; daughter, Patricia Francis and husband John of Danville, VA.; seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
