Claude Francis Branz 79, left his earthly body peacefully April 7th at home with his family by his side.

There will not be a formal service at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Claude was born August 12, 1943 to the late Henry Charles Branz and Wanda Lucille Hays in Chatsworth, Illinois. Claude was a US Army Veteran / Green Beret, stationed in Panama during the Vietnam War.  He worked many different jobs along life’s way, some included song writing, writing stories/poems, teaching, and then retired as a Retail Salesman at a Hardware store.  Claude was a creative writer and his stories will live on to be told by his loving wife, Sylvia and other family members.; daughters, Rebecca Branz and Diana Branz; grand-daughters, Carson, Cadence, Keagan; siblings, Fern Blair, Jean Wynn, Donna Bordner (Craig Bordner), Mick Branz (Karen Branz), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Lyle Branz and nephew John Schade.
