Clarice Eanes "Granny" Gill

Clarice Eanes Gill 'Granny', age 84, was carried home by Angels on Friday, April 3, 2015. She was a native of Eden, NC and a resident of the Peninsula for over 50 years.

After over 30 years at Mallory's Restaurant, Granny retired in the mid-1980s.

Clarice was preceded in rest by her first husband, Richard Eanes; second husband, James Gill; and daughter, Patricia Vick. She is survived by her children, Alicia Stover (John), Ricky Eanes (Donna), Jimmy Eanes (Leigh), and Tommy Eanes (Gina); 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Emanuel Baptist Church, in Eden, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to your local SPCA in memory of Clarice.
