Clarence Glenn Hall

Clarence Glenn Hall, 87, of 211 Short Union Street, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 9, 2010 at Brian Center in Eden. A funeral service will be at 2 PM on Monday, December 14, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Born July 26, 1923 in Leaksville, NC, Mr. Hall was the son of Judson S. and Sallie Lorene Brown Hall. He was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a retiree of the US Air Force. Surviving are four sisters, Helen Schetts and Lucy Wetherholt both of Aurora, IL, Vivian Emmons of Indian Head Park, IL, Iris Newby of Eden, ; brother Thomas "Mack" Hall of Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Hall and Judson Hall, Jr.; and two sisters, Barbara Neushwander and Mary Brice. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 6 - 8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
