Cindy Lewis

Cindy Lewis, 58, of 832 Cobbs Knob Road in Axton, VA, passed away Tuesday evening, July 23, 2019.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 26, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Cindy was born July 10, 1961 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Jeremiah "Jerry" Lewis, Jr. and Betsy Harris Lewis Pyrtle.  She loved to travel, especially trip to the mountains and beaches.

She is survived by two sisters, Linda Douglas and husband, Keith, and Jean Smart, of Axton, VA;  two brothers, Jerry Lewis, III and wife, Sandy, and Leonard Lewis and wife, Beth, both of Ridgeway, VA;  half-brother, Tim Pyrtle of Eden;  nieces, Donna Sorochinski, Danielle Lewis, and Lori Lewis;  nephew, Joey Lewis;  and her best friend, Shirley Martin of Eden.
