Charlie "C. C." Clarence Spain

Charlie "C. C." Clarence Spain, 55, of 116 Della Drive, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2011 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Danview Cemetery. Mr. Spain was born March 9, 1956 in Leaksville, NC. He was formerly employed with Draper Lumber Company and also had worked as an auto mechanic. He had such diverse interest such as cooking and held a culinary degree. Surviving are his son, Christopher "Chris" Spain of Eden; mother, Ruth Roberts Spain of Eden; sister, Tammy Spain Bailey of Eden; brothers, Walter "Nathaniel" Spain, Jr. and wife, Joan, Bryon "B.T" Thad Spain and wife, Teenia, all of Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Nathaniel Spain, Sr. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 1222 Maryland Avenue in Eden.
