Charles "Randy" Jefferson

Charles “Randy” Jefferson, 57, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 9, 2020, at his home. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 12, at Lawson Cemetery. He will lie in repose from 12 Noon to 6 PM on Friday at Fair Funeral Home, for those wishing to come by to pay their respects.

Born November 22, 1963 in Eden, NC, Randy was the son of the late Charles D. Jefferson and Sarah Odell Jefferson Thacker.  He was formerly employed by Southern Finishing Company.  Randy enjoyed NASCAR racing and Carolina Panthers football.

He is survived by three sisters, Teresa Hawkins (Mike) of Browns Summit, “Lou Lou” Duncan (Clayton) of Stoneville and Debbie Leffew of Mayodan; and three brothers, Rick Jefferson of Eden, Jim Strickland of Wentworth and Rocky Petty (Vicky) of Eden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Bernice Parks Jefferson.
