Charles Calvin "Buddy" Pulliam

Charles Calvin "Buddy" Pulliam, 63, of 193 Garrett Road, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday morning, August 29, 2011. A funeral service will be held 4 pm Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery Mr. Pulliam was born March 8, 1948 in Rockingham County, son of the late Charlie Clayton and Thelma Hill Pulliam. He was a former construction supervisor for E.I. DuPont of Martinsville. Buddy had a love for restoring cars and trucks. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Deborah Allen Pulliam of the home; son, Paul Pulliam; three daughters, Tracey Ellis, Jennifer Pulliam, and Ashley Pulliam, all of Eden; and four grandchildren, Brandon and Breanna Ellis, Skyler Corum and Lexie Boothe. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 -8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
