Chad Stephen Garrett

Chad Stephen Garrett, 53, of Eden passed away at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Monday, February 5, 2024, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, officiated by Jon Bowman and Joshua Patterson with burial to follow at Garrett Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12-1pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will gather and receive friends at the home of Chad’s brother, 1700 Garrett Rd, Eden.

Chad was born June 8, 1970, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late William Allen Garrett, Sr., and Frances Wood Garrett. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church. He was a brick mason by trade. Chad loved old cars and working on them. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. He cherished his family and loved Jesus.

Surviving are his children, Evan Garrett and Megan Agee; granddaughter, Aubree Garrett; sister, Carolyn Garrett; brothers, William Allen Garrett, Jr. (Sherie), Larry Ronald Garrett (Rosemary); Jeff Randall Garrett (Cathy), David Michael Garrett (Sherry), and Timothy Lee Garrett (Gwen); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his dog, Rufus.

In addition to his parents, Chad is preceded by the mother of his children, Andrea Agee.
