Cecil W. West, Jr.

Cecil William West, Jr., 64 of 620 Chandler Mill Road in Pelham, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 20, at Lively Stone Baptist Church in Pelham. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. West was born April 10, 1948 in Phoebus, Virginia, son of the late Cecil W. and Grace Keanal West. He was a member of Lively Stone Baptist Church and a retiree of J. W. Daniels, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Craig West of the home; daughter, Karen Coleman and husband, Donald of Haysi, WV; step-children, Kelly Austin and husband, Norman of Eden, and Angie Eggleston and husband, Steve, also of Eden; grandchildren, Tara Coleman and Adrianna Coleman; step-grandchildren, Brandi and Bryan Rothrock, David and Taylor Eggleston; three brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Lively Stone Baptist Church and other times at the residence.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund a Duke University Medical Center or to Lively Stone Baptist Church Building Fund, 2347 Chandler Mill Road, Pelham, NC.
