Catherine Elizabeth Mcleod

Mother, teacher and loving wife Catherine Elizabeth McLeod passed away on August 25th, 2022 at the age of 71.

A funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, 432 Boone Rd, Eden NC 27288. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Cathy was born in Stratford, Ontario Canada before moving to Windsor, Ontario Canada and meeting the love of her life William John McLeod. They had 3 boys, Trevor, Kyle and Billy and raised them in Windsor before moving to Eden, North Carolina where their family stayed.

Cathy was a loving and energetic mother, wife, sister and teacher and impacted so many people throughout her life. Her love of teaching never ceased and after leaving the classroom and teaching her three boys and five grandchildren everything she could, she continued to teach Bridge and became an Emerald Life Master.

Cathy also loved to explore the world and traveled her entire life soaking up beaches, castles and country-sides the world round. She is survived by her husband, Bill, children Trevor and wife Laura, Kyle and wife Dacia and Billy and wife Suzanna, her grandchildren, John, Hannah, Milly, Lucy and Francie and her many brothers and sisters.
