Carper Swinfield Stanley, Jr.

Carper Swinfield Stanley, Jr., 65, of 712 Wilkins Street, passed away Sunday evening, January 9, 2011 at Morehead Memorial Hosptial in Eden. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 13 Overlook Cemetery. Mr. Stanley was born May 9, 1945 in Leaksville, NC, son of the late Carper S. and Margaret Grogan Stanley. He was a member of Spray Baptist Church and was a US Army and US Navy veteran. Mr. Stanley was the former plant maintenance manager for Stoneville Furniture Company. Surviving is his wife, Janet Stanley of the home; special daughter, Jessica Joyce and husband, Eddie of Pine Hall, NC; step-son, Chuck Brann and wife, Phyllis of Charlotte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Christopher "Chris" Stanley. There will be no formal visitation however the family will receive friends at the residence.
