Caroline Sue Nidy Murphy, 81, passed away Friday, November 6th at her home in Rockingham Co.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 11th at 2:00pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Caroline was born February 26, 1945 to the late Clyde and Ester May Nidy in West VA. She loved traveling to the beach with her husband before his death. In her earlier years, Caroline painted and worked puzzles. She especially loved her dogs.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, April Fulp; son’s Curtis Bailey (Kelly Bailey), Timmy Bailey (Cina Richards and child Eli Richards), Arthur Bailey; grandchildren, Mindy Gibbs (David), Ashley Bailey, Amber Shelton, Jessica Smith; great grand-children, Dave Gibbs, Josh Bailey, Jose Fernandez, Austin Herrera, Luis Herrera, Gabriella Hairston, Landon Odell, Aubrey Brown.

Caroline is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Murphy, three sisters, one brother, her parents and a grandson Justin Smith.
