Carolyn McCracken Fleck

Carolyn Lynne McCracken Fleck, 71 of Eden, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Cypress Valley Nursing in Reidsville.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Carolyn was born July 22, 1955 in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late Raymond H. McCracken and Helen Overby McCracken. She worked as a front desk manager for a storage facility for many years. Carolyn met her husband, Thomas, in 1978 in Cocoa Beach. They traveled the world together. She was known as a social butterfly with an infectious smile. Carolyn loved her family and loved life.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Fleck; son, Daniel Fleck (Brooke); grandsons, Jaxton and Jaden Fleck; granddaughters, Scotlyn and Ryleigh Lunsford, Skyler and Ava Clark, and Jenna Laprad; son-in-law, Greg Lunsford; niece, Lisa Shelton (Markley); brother, Curtis McCracken (Cindy).

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Lunsford and sister, Patricia Agee.
