Carol Leake Rackley

Carol Leake Rackley of Stoneville, NC went to be home with the Lord on July 24th, 2025

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Deep Springs Baptist Church, 2406 River Rd, Stoneville. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Fair Funeral Home in Eden. The family will receive friends at other times at 1674 Stone Mountain Rd, Stoneville.

Carol was born on June 11th, 1943 in Bristol, VA to the late Aubrey and Ruby Leake. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church with a strong faith in God. She enjoyed being around family and friends. She retired as a retail manager. 

Carol is survived by her sons, Larry Stowe Jr. and Frankie Stowe Sr.; five grandsons, Wesley Stowe, William Stowe, Wayne Stowe, Frankie Stowe Jr., Jason Stowe; sister, Betsy Davis; several nieces and nephews; and several great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert G. Rackley; two daughter-in-laws Arletta Stowe and Tanya Stowe; her parents; her brother, Robert Leake; and sisters, Sarah Leake Roberts and husband Jesse and Martha Leake Stultz.

In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations to Fair Funeral Home.
