Carly Lorene Samuels, 21, of 808 Clarkway Avenue in Eden, passed away Wednesday morning, February 26, 2014, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, March 1, at her home on Clarkway Avenue.

Carly was born July 20, 1992 in Eden. She was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 2011. Carly loved spending time with her cousins, watching anime and creating her own anime stories and illustrations, and playing her favorite video games.
She is survived by her parents, Calvin and Cindy Evans Samuels of the home; brother, Wesley "Shane" Evans of Eden; nephew, Caleb Clay Evans of Kingsport, TN; cousins, Justin Rorrer, Ashley Rorrer, Jessica Evans, Kim Paschal, and Jamie McCain; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Carly's parents at the home address, to be donated to her favorite charities.
