Carlton Lee Dorsett

Carlton Lee Dorsett, 62, of 1443 Delaware Avenue in Eden, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, September 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.


Carlton was born April 6, 1951 to Garland Lee Dorsett and the late Lilly Ann Finney Dorsett and was formerly employed with Hanes Brands as an electrician. He attended Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mr. Dorsett is survived by his sons, Jason Dorsett and Eric Dorsett of Palestine, TX; father, Garland Lee Dorsett of Lanham, MD; sister, Valerie Dorsett Johnson; and brother -in-law, Ricky Lacey of St. Mary's County, MD; nieces, Shannon, Patricia, Kelly, and Katherine Fitzpatrick.

In addition to his mother, Carlton is preceded in death by a brother, Barry Dorsett.

Visitation will be 7-9 pm Monday evening at Fair Funeral Home.
