Carl Danny Shelhorse

Carl Danny Shelhorse, 69, of 47 JV Drive in Patrick Springs, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville / Henry County.

There will be no formal service.

Mr. Shelhorse was born June 27, 1949 in Reidsville, NC, to the late George Shelhorse and Ava Lawless.  He loved riding Indian motorcycles and working on cars.  He was an animal lover and enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Sutliff of Eden;  son, Carl Danny Shelhorse, Jr. of Reidsville;  nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Foster, Casey Foster, Stephanie Foster, Heather Griffin, Ashley Sutliff, Jacob Sutliff, Justin Latham, Hannah Barnett, and Dustin Barnett;  sister, Victoria Cassell;  and a large extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Randall McCoy;  sister, Olivia Harris;  and one brother.
