Carl Bradford Hopper

Carl Bradford Hopper, 60, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

Carl was born December 28, 1959 in Leaksville, NC.  He was a 1978 graduate of Southern High School in Durham and was an avid Duke Blue Devils fan.  Carl was a member of Leesville Baptist Church in Durham and was employed by Cree Electronics, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Lovell Hopper of Durham; daughter, Anna Hopper of Durham; father, James Bradford Hopper of Eden; mother, Novella Underwood Earles (Bill) of Stoneville; brother, Scott Hopper of Thomasville; and step-sister, Teresa Earles of Greensboro.

Carl was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Hopper; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Mae Underwood; paternal grandparents, David and Daisy Hopper; and great-grandmother, Nannie Hopper.
