Candace Lanette Boyd, 56 of Eden, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11am.

Candace was born November 30, 1969, to Cody Lyndell Boyd and Charlotte Myers Meeks. She worked as a CNA at Brookdale Senior Living. She loved bluegrass gospel music and going to the mountains. She collected elephants and enjoyed diamond art. Candace was known for taking care of others. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her mother, Charlotte Myers Meeks; daughters, Amber Tucker and Alyssa Wilson; brother, Chris Boyd; half-sisters, Carrie Boyd and Mae Beth Boyd; half-brother, John Boyd; grandkids, Tyler and Dylan Tucker; significant other, Steven Chandler; and two fur-babies, Barney and Dixon.

She is preceded in death by her father, Cody Lyndell Boyd.
