Clarence Michael “Mike” Frazier, 70, passed away February 24, 2022 at Sovah Health in
Martinsville, VA.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 2nd at 2pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the
Danview Cemetery.
Mike was born in
Leaksville, NC, June 17, 1951 to the late Clarence “Joe” Henry Frazier and Doris Davis Frazier Walker Hruska. He loved spending time at the Outer Banks, listening to music, and traveling. Mike also loved going to the shooting range. He especially loved his family. After graduating from
Morehead High School in 1969 he attended
Rockingham Community College and GTCC. He continued his education at
Western Carolina University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering. Mike went on to
George Washington University where he received a Master’s Degree of Art in Education and Human Development. His career at RCC included being an Instructor, Professor and Dean of Industrial Technologies Division. He retired in 2013 and shortly afterwards he received the Honor of Professor Emeritus
Mike is survived by his daughter, Christi Sheree Frazier Ferguson; brother’s Ricky Frazier (Barbara Cook) and Tony Frazier (Kim); Sister, Barbara Frazier Brooks (Kenny Smith); three grandchildren, four nieces and 2 nephews.
Mike was a wonderful son, brother, father, papa, teacher, and friend. He will be truly missed.
