Brenda Hogan

Brenda Ann Dyson Hogan, age 70, of 263 Owl Rd. in Eden, passed away at her home on Monday, December 31, 2018.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, January 4, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 208 B. Austin Drive in Eden.

Mrs. Hogan was born on July 23, 1948 in the Leaksville section of Eden to the late R.C. Dyson and Helen Moore Gauldin.  She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time camping and fishing.  Brenda worked as a waitress for the Golden Correl.  Mrs. Hogan was a Mother and Grandmother that loved her Children and her family dearly.  She will be missed by all that knew her and the love that she gave to everyone.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Tracy Dyson of Eden, Frankie Dyson and wife, Rita of Salisbury, Leonard Hogan of Eden, Johnny Hogan and wife, Sissy of Eden, James Hogan of Cascade and Jerry Hogan of Walnut Cove; her brother, Rickie Dyson of Eden; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Gerdine Jones, Carolyn Shelton, Diane Hundley and Linda Cox.
