Brenda Coone Jarrett

Brenda Coone Jarrett, 68, of Eden, passed Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Hospice of Rockingham County.

A funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday, May 27, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home.

Brenda was born April 2, 1954, in Leaksville, NC, to the late Douglas Norman Coone, Sr. and Sallie Mae Slaughter Coone. She was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1972. Brenda was a member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church in Cascade, VA. She worked for Burlington Industries and Fieldcrest Mills. She enjoyed the beach, shopping, and going out to eat. Brenda loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wyatt Jarrett of the home; daughter, Cassie Jobe (Jason) of Stokesdale; stepchildren, H. Jarrett, IV. (Serena) of Reidsville, Wesley Jarrett (Melanie) of Raleigh, Vickie Jarrett of Greensboro; brother, Bernie Coone (Cindy) of Stoneville; sister, Andrea Coone East (John) of Stoneville; grandchildren, Dylan Jobe, Taylor Jarrett, Bradley Jarrett, Kimberly Jarrett, Alexis Jarrett, Nathaniel Jarrett, Zachary Jarrett; special sister, Judy Boothe (Kenny) of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Norman Coone, Jr.
