Bobby Clark Jones

Bobby Clark Jones, 77, of 3649 Oak Hill Road in Danville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Jones Family Cemetery in Cascade. Bobby was born in Cascade, Virginia, to the late Robert W. Jones and Frances Clark Jones on June 22, 1932. He was a member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired in 1996 from Virginia Solite. In 1959 he married Ruby Walker Jones. Surviving along with his wife are a daughter, Tammy J. Hammond and husband, Buck, of Danville, and one grandson, Logan Clark Hammond; one brother, Dillard Jones and wife, Harriett, of Danville; sisters, Hazel Jarrell and husband, Eugene, of Eden, Iris J. Denny of Cascade, and Gayle Boothe of Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at Fair Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
